Time Flies.....What a change...

Over the years, I have realised the changes in me at every stage of my life. I used to be lack of confidence with my looks due to peer pressure and genes. Luckily in university, i managed to be more confidence with my appearance after the experiences that i have gone through. I always believe first impression is important. As long as you take the extra effort to dress up urself and smile more often, people will feel good hanging out with you. Always stay cheerful! SMILE......

Cousin's Wedding Day @ Grassroot Club

Woke up @ 11am and went to cousin's house for some traditional tea ceremony. Stayed there for around 2 hours and went back to continue my sleep. The dinner was 7pm @ Grassroot club and we reached there on time realising that we were one of the earliest. The whole ambience was about 3- star quality but the food was of 5 stars. Overall it was quite a not bad wedding as I managed to mingle with my cousins. Who's next? Supposedly to be Jaslyn....haha

Awards Presentation Dinner 2008

My Colleagues @ MEAP

It's the first event I have attended in my new company. Presentation of awards for model employees, long service awards and appreciation awards for those who have worked hard throughout the year. It was really fun hanging out with my new colleagues. Nice and helpful colleagues. So far so good. Will continue to work hard and strive for the best. Ended the dinner with some singings. My big boss Mr. Fujii San even sang 2 chinese songs. Impressive!

Last Day @ Flextronics

It has been a great experience working in Flex. It's my first job after graduation and I was glad to get to know many great colleagues and friends. Although it was a short 3 months period at the company, I have gained much knowledge and many opportunities to improve on my personal development. I'm looking forward to my new job and hopefully my choice is right.

Reunion of the Philippines Trip Bowlers @ Zouk!

It was great going out with this group of people. As usual, the less sober people are fleas and Clarice.....I was not really high but had fun overall.....too bad din get to know any girls there haha.....perhaps next time....

A Night @ Zouk

After doing fyp and assignment on Weekends, I decided to meet Phyllis, Vic, Cam and Jas @ Zouk around 12.30am. Since i seldom go party with them at clubs, I thought I should go and join them. I could do some "exercise" in order to get rids of some fats which was accumulated during this exam periods. haha.....Well....I waited for them about 30 min outside zouk as Vic told me that she would wait outside for me...but...I ended up going myself since Vic was too 'high'. hee~!

It was a nice hangout @ Zouk with all the dancings and all the things happening around me. Some guys were really good at 'hooking' girls while the others really CMI. One guy actually said he lost his friends and wanna joined the girls. Diaonz. So off.... Left the place around 4am and started the drivers' rotation. Since Victoria was not very sober to drive, Jas took over and brought us to have prata supper near her place @ Jurong. We sent Phyllis back hall and then to Jas place before Cam took over as the driver to go to her place. By the time we reached cam's place, the midnight charges were over. I took over as the driver and sent Vic home where i took cab from there. I reached home at about 6.45am and saw my Mum who was preparing things for shao3 mu4. She was quite shocked to see me home so 'early' haha. I did some wash up before heading to Chua Chu Kang to shao3 mu4.

The whole shao3 mu4 lasted almost 5 hours! due to the heavy jam. Finally managed to get some sleep at 1pm. Wore contacts for 24 hours! I have not wear a pair of contacts for so long in a day since "those years" were over...This is not healthy man...exercise and eat prata.....- and + kg=no effect. haha! Night life is fun but the after effect is not that great manz. But it was a definitely a nice hangout with the girls!

Great Memories @ 1st Asian Universities Bowling Championship(Philippines)

I was extremely glad to be part of the team to represent NTU for the 1st Asian Universities Bowling Championship 2007 in Philippines from 7th-12th March. Although there were alot of disputes and unhappiness before the trip, I felt that all my efforts had paid off. Being the Captain of NTU team for the last time in this competition meant alot to me. It was a good ending to my bowling life in university. Having won the 2nd overseas team medal was even better to conclude all the things I have done and efforts i have put in to make NTU one of the strongest team in the tertiary level.

This trip indeed made me feel more sense of belonging to the NTU team. We trained, competed and had alot of fun together. Everyone was there to support each other and look after one another at all times. It was a great experience bowling with and knowing people from other Asian Universities. It was definitely one of the best overseas trip I had in my life. Thanks alot to Victoria, Camilla, Jascelyn, Phyllis, Clarence, John and Raymond for giving me such wonderful memories!

My First @ Singapore National Stadium

Wow wow wow....it was damn exciting and the atmosphere at the national stadium was absolutely great! I haven't been supporting Singapore Soccer team ever since Singapore was excluded from the Malaysian Cup. Since Singapore was having an important match against Malaysia and I had never been to National Stadium to watch soccer, I thought it would be interesting to experience the atmosphere in a live soccer match.

The journey to Stadium was about 45 min although i was just 5 min!!!! away from the stadium. The jam was terrible! My brother and I went to look for seats at the grand stand. By that time, the stadium was almost full except for the opponents' fans stand.

Kallang roar and waves were back! We did that throughout the whole soccer match. Soon after the players' name was announced, both the teams walked out confidently with the referees and officials. The match started after both national anthems were sang.

I am really glad that Singapore are through to the final of the Asean Football Championship for the second consecutive time. And they did it the hard way. They triumphed in the penalty shoot-out and 55,000 fans at the National Stadium on Saturday night heaved a huge sigh of relief.More so after the second leg semi-final clash had ended in a 1-1 draw and extra time failed to produce an outright winner with the opening leg at the Shah Alam stadium on Tuesday had also ended in a similar score. The sell-out crowd in the traditional red of Singapore erupted into joy as goalkeeper Lionel Lewis dived the right way to prevent Mohd Khyril and taking the match into further agony. Great Job Singapore! I'm so proud of our soccer team!

Straight after the penalty, my brother and I had to run to our car so as to avoid jam. Although we went to the car early, we were still stucked in the jam because some people just parked their cars beside Around us and obstruct our way out. It took us 1 hour!!! to reach home. Well, I must said that I really enjoyed alot during the match and somehow or rather I became one of Singapore soccer team die-hard fans right after that.

Late for School......

hai....today is the second lesson for Chinese Painting. Set the alarm @ 9am but woke up @ 9.45am!!! and left house @ 10.10am. Reached school @ 10.45am by cab and ended up sitting at a table facing the wall in the class.....really mian4 bi4 si1 guo4 manz...today's lesson was not bad....managed to learn how to draw bamboos.I guess i need to practise more or else my bamboos look like some bones. haha.

Reached home and rest a while before going for ray's tuition. So glad that he got full marks for his first maths test even though i only started teaching him for a month. I must say he is one of the most hardworking student i have. From normal to express stream isnt an easy task for students nowadays. Most importantly, i think he deserves the good grades as he reap what he sow.

After tuition, went home and took 2 hours nap before I head to Marina Square to have my dinner and catch a movie. Dinner was @ MOF-My Izakaya. The food was not bad and prices were quite reasonable. I had miso spicy ramen and a yummy dessert-Mango Kakigori. This dessert is super nice which is almost the same as the mango chua4 bing1 i ate in taiwan. Seddup!slurp.....

Went to watch movie-Pan's Labyrinth (NC16) @ 9.30pm after dinner since Weiheng and Yaohui said it's not bad. This fantasy-genre movie involves this girl, Ofélia who settles down with her mother Carmen, recently remarried with the highly domineering Vidal, captain in the pro-Franco army. While the little girl struggles to get used to her new life, she discovers nearby the great family house a mysterious labyrinth. Pan, its faithful guardian, a strange magical and demonic creature, will reveal to her that she is none other than the princess who long ago disappeared from an enchanted realm. To discover the truth, Ofélia will have to face three dangerous trials that nothing on earth has prepared her for.

There are some violence and disgusting scenes. So for those who are going to watch it, be prepared! Well indeed this movie is quite nice......but its in spanish so ended up watching the subtitles for the whole movie. haha

ok...time to get to bed....long day tomorrow....training, tuition and going Kallang stadium to support Singapore!!!woohoo!!

Finally......

yes! Finally, I have changed the background of my blog..haha thanks angee and jasc for nagging at me...have really been busy with lots of things....outings, bowling, studies, tuitions, my "special" module and FYP. FYP has been driving me crazy.....hate programming coz i suck at it....well what to do...i chose it so i have to bear with it for 2 more months...jia you manz.

Fyp aside....I have to say I enjoyed myself alot especially during the december holiday...the victory in NTU Invitational 2006, my results, bowling outings, followed my neighbour's journey for PSS2 etc which marked the end of the year 2006. Well to me year 2006 wasn't a great year for me and maybe to alot of people who also born in the year of dog. haha. Since it's over, i shall reflect on those things fast and get over with them. Bye 2006!

Woohoo.. its 2007..final sem in NTU (hope so)...last sem staying in hall and going for bowling trainings.....I know i will miss all these but well i guess i just have to treasure and enjoy every moments from now.

Just now managed to see myself on tv. Although its just a few seconds on screen, im really contented with the great experiences I have gained from the 5 drama serials that I have acted in. It wasn't an easy task to film a show. Teamwork is extremely important among the producer, AP, cameraman, actors and actressess. These people make sure that every scene is almost perfect. Even my infamous one-liner:警察! 临检! 快把身份证拿出来! in the 7pm show 荧火虫的梦 have to be repeated at least 10 times to get the best effect. Really respect these people manz!

well shall end this post and continue with my FYP. sianz 1/2.....jia you to myself!!!

Bowling, Bowling and More Bowling

This whole week has been really busy. Last Saturday to Monday, I went to Malaysia for some shopping. Straight after I came back from Genting, I went mediacorp for pre recording to support my neighbour( Yes!She's in the Semi Final of Project Superstar 2). On Tuesday, I attended training at Mount Faber SAFRA in the morning. After that, the MAE bowlers had to rush to Marina South Superbowl for our MAE Selection. There were only 9 bowlers competing and i managed to get 175 average which was second after Jimmy (193 av). Felt so lousy. 153 161 212 174 The lanes were really tough to handle as the lanes were old and dirty. I was really exhausted after that whole day of bowling.

Bowling chalet was held from Wednesday to Friday at Costa Sands Sentosa. Victoria was so nice to come and fetch me to Harbourfront Shopping Centre to buy food for the chalet. By the time we checked in, it was about 4 plus so we decided to meet up with the rest of the bowlers and had a game of beach volleyball. After our dinner, we went to Zouk to 'chiong'. There were 10 of us and we stayed till 3.30am. We went to have some prata supper and headed back to our chalet at about 4.30am.

On thursday, after 1 hour of sleep, I went for my filming at Mediacorp for "Ying Huo Cong Zi Meng". I thought it would end at 1pm but the producer decided to change my role from reporter to CID. So I have to stay till 6pm. I got one line script and that was "Jin Cha! Ling Jian! Ba Shen Fen Zhen Na Chu Lai!" Wahaha I acted with Felicia Chin and I thought she was really nice to the part timers and natural in acting. Great experience man! By the time I reached chalet, the rest of the bowlers had started the bbq. I just slacked around as I was super tired. The food prepared by Victoria, Clarence, Yaohui and John was damn good lah. However, we wasted alot of food again. Waste money. Night activities started around 1.30am and we played 'who what huh' game which was taught by me. Played this game for 3 hours! Glad to see everyone had enjoyed this game. I checked out at 9am and went home to get some sleep as my training is at 3.30pm! Hai, physically exhausted manz!

Today is the ISG competition. As usual, MAE guys won the overall guys while our overall girls was 8th out of 10 schools. MAE got second for overall school which was an improvement from last year 4th. Maybe I was just too tired le. Did not focus much in my games. Luckily other bowlers did well enough to pull up the whole team. I'm glad to win my last ISG medal before i graduate. Straight after that, I went to my auntie's chalet. Another round of BBQ. I guess I have to go on diet le. Too much oily food le!

I am going to stay at home tomorrow for the whole day and start to do some reading up of my FYP. Too much bowling and activities this week. Need tomorrow to replenish my body. Haha. Next week is NTU Invitational Competition. More training and bowling again! Shiong shiong shiong! Better get some sleep soon......

It's Packing Time

Spent the whole day packing my stuffs since exams have just ended. I threw away 8 bags of notes and 1 bag of clothes.Damn tired. I have finally decided to throw away all the year 2 and 3 notes so that when I move out of the hall next semester, there is space for all my books, notes and other stuffs. Wah that's alot! I think i will end up throwing most of the things so that i don't have to carry all the way from Level 7 to my car and back home. I can still remember when i shifted from Level 5 to Level 7 room, i took 21 trips up and down the stairs carrying all my stuffs.arghhhhh. super tiring lor.maybe i should employ general workers to help me. Haha.

Few hours later, I will be heading to KL for a short overseas holiday. My parents have been complaining that I haven't gone holiday with them for quite some time because I have really been tied up with alot of things. So this trip is a must for me. I think I will do abit of shopping at KL and Genting to buy my CNY clothes. Maybe watch a few movies with my sister since she is not allowed to enter the casino.

My Favourite Fatty crabs, shopping place & hotel......

Well, I have to skip my first bowling training after exams for this trip. Luckily, I have reliable Victoria, Yaohui and Anli to help me distribute the jackets and polo tees as well as organise the training later. Thanks manz! Team lineup for NTU Invitational will be out also, quite eager to know the final lineup. Hope our bowlers can do our school proud in this major competition. Guess I have to do abit of personal training before the MAE selection on tuesday but I can't seem to find any time for this. haha. Heck la. just pray for more luck and strikes during selection. haha. Earlier on, I made my trip to Anli's house to collect my jacket and polo tee. The sizes for this year's jackets and tees are kind of weird. The sleeves are either too long or too short. Yaohui told me to be careful for the first wash as the colour will fade. Lousy supplier. Hee.

For PSS, Averil has been selected to be in the first group of quarter-final 3 along with Sheila (duet partner), Michelle and Dawn. Shes F3! This week's theme will be 1980s. She has chosen Tarcy Su's song Yi Ge Ren Zu and Xiao Sa Zou Yi Hui by Sally Yeh for duet. Really looking forward to her performance. I hope she will do well and wish her good luck. My whole family will be going down MDC on Monday to give our support. Even my Mum and Brother who don't support PSS also going there. Wah Averil, honoured right? Haha. I'm still waiting for my tickets to the show. Wahaha. Maybe finished distributing le since she is SO popular now. So many fans now, she has fanclub forum, yahoogroups, blog, frienster, everything also have(still say no fans!). I have suggested to the president of her fanclub to make some things for the fans so that the fans will have something to hold during the show. Haha. hope it works and turn out nice!

Alright, time to get some sleep. here is the song that my neighbour superstar will be singing on Monday.

My First Post - Project Superstar 2

This will be my first post on my newly created blog. I have always wanted to have my own blog but just could not afford the time to learn and create one. Lazy? Maybe.Haha...Yes, I'm a newbie to this blog thing. I spent 2 days to have this blog nicely done. Slowly getting to know my new 'friend'- the HTML code. Haha I can feel the sense of achievement.

Well, it's 1st of December and I shall declare the official opening of this blog!Woohoo...*cut ribbon*clap pls, Thanks thanks!

Since its the first post, I shall blog something about the Project Superstar 2. No, if you think I'm one of the Superstar fans. I don't wait outside MDC just to catch a glimpse or take photo with the contestants. I support this competition as I'm delighted to find out someone so 'close' to me made it to the top 16 (8 have been eliminated). She's none other than my neighbour, Averil Chen Shi Yun. There are other NTU students who are competing in this competition such as Le Sheng, Diya, Lingyi (just eliminated this week) and even the Superstar Blogger, Angie. So, there are abit of connections since we are all from the same school. Haha. Act close. I also got to know Dawn through IRC many many years ago since we were bowlers and she was one of my friend's ex girlfriend. I saw Anson performed at a music cafe last year when I was supporting my friend for an audition and I thought he was really good. Haha so there are again some connections here and there worrr.

Having to watch the Top24 contestants' performances, I find that this year's contestants are more talented and better looking than last year. They have different singing styles and unique looks. These people just lacked the stage presence at the moment. I thought Averil is one of the better singer in this competition although she has no vocal training prior to this competition. Hope she can proceed further and so that my family can go to support her at her live recording!(my Dad is super enthusiastic and supportive for Averil.Haha)

In this competition, shocking elimination for the contestants and negative comments from the audience are expected (I still cannot believe Her Ching and Anson are eliminated haha). Well, i guess this is part and parcel of life in entertainment industry. One has to be strong and work harder to make sure he/she does not regret along the process. Enjoy the whole process and gain as much experiences as possible.

It's the start of my one month holiday but there seems to be alot of things to do. My FYP, Bowling Competitions, Tuition, Chalet, Acting......Wah busy busy busy.....better get some sleep now and carry on to pack my stuffs tomorrow which are lying all over my floor now....arghhhh...
Here are the photos of my neighbour and the Top 24!
Jue Dui Superstar...You Ni Jiu You Ta......
