My First @ Singapore National Stadium

Wow wow wow....it was damn exciting and the atmosphere at the national stadium was absolutely great! I haven't been supporting Singapore Soccer team ever since Singapore was excluded from the Malaysian Cup. Since Singapore was having an important match against Malaysia and I had never been to National Stadium to watch soccer, I thought it would be interesting to experience the atmosphere in a live soccer match.

The journey to Stadium was about 45 min although i was just 5 min!!!! away from the stadium. The jam was terrible! My brother and I went to look for seats at the grand stand. By that time, the stadium was almost full except for the opponents' fans stand.

Kallang roar and waves were back! We did that throughout the whole soccer match. Soon after the players' name was announced, both the teams walked out confidently with the referees and officials. The match started after both national anthems were sang.

I am really glad that Singapore are through to the final of the Asean Football Championship for the second consecutive time. And they did it the hard way. They triumphed in the penalty shoot-out and 55,000 fans at the National Stadium on Saturday night heaved a huge sigh of relief.More so after the second leg semi-final clash had ended in a 1-1 draw and extra time failed to produce an outright winner with the opening leg at the Shah Alam stadium on Tuesday had also ended in a similar score. The sell-out crowd in the traditional red of Singapore erupted into joy as goalkeeper Lionel Lewis dived the right way to prevent Mohd Khyril and taking the match into further agony. Great Job Singapore! I'm so proud of our soccer team!

Straight after the penalty, my brother and I had to run to our car so as to avoid jam. Although we went to the car early, we were still stucked in the jam because some people just parked their cars beside Around us and obstruct our way out. It took us 1 hour!!! to reach home. Well, I must said that I really enjoyed alot during the match and somehow or rather I became one of Singapore soccer team die-hard fans right after that.

Late for School......

hai....today is the second lesson for Chinese Painting. Set the alarm @ 9am but woke up @ 9.45am!!! and left house @ 10.10am. Reached school @ 10.45am by cab and ended up sitting at a table facing the wall in the class.....really mian4 bi4 si1 guo4 manz...today's lesson was not bad....managed to learn how to draw bamboos.I guess i need to practise more or else my bamboos look like some bones. haha.

Reached home and rest a while before going for ray's tuition. So glad that he got full marks for his first maths test even though i only started teaching him for a month. I must say he is one of the most hardworking student i have. From normal to express stream isnt an easy task for students nowadays. Most importantly, i think he deserves the good grades as he reap what he sow.

After tuition, went home and took 2 hours nap before I head to Marina Square to have my dinner and catch a movie. Dinner was @ MOF-My Izakaya. The food was not bad and prices were quite reasonable. I had miso spicy ramen and a yummy dessert-Mango Kakigori. This dessert is super nice which is almost the same as the mango chua4 bing1 i ate in taiwan. Seddup!slurp.....

Went to watch movie-Pan's Labyrinth (NC16) @ 9.30pm after dinner since Weiheng and Yaohui said it's not bad. This fantasy-genre movie involves this girl, Ofélia who settles down with her mother Carmen, recently remarried with the highly domineering Vidal, captain in the pro-Franco army. While the little girl struggles to get used to her new life, she discovers nearby the great family house a mysterious labyrinth. Pan, its faithful guardian, a strange magical and demonic creature, will reveal to her that she is none other than the princess who long ago disappeared from an enchanted realm. To discover the truth, Ofélia will have to face three dangerous trials that nothing on earth has prepared her for.

There are some violence and disgusting scenes. So for those who are going to watch it, be prepared! Well indeed this movie is quite nice......but its in spanish so ended up watching the subtitles for the whole movie. haha

ok...time to get to bed....long day tomorrow....training, tuition and going Kallang stadium to support Singapore!!!woohoo!!

Finally......

yes! Finally, I have changed the background of my blog..haha thanks angee and jasc for nagging at me...have really been busy with lots of things....outings, bowling, studies, tuitions, my "special" module and FYP. FYP has been driving me crazy.....hate programming coz i suck at it....well what to do...i chose it so i have to bear with it for 2 more months...jia you manz.

Fyp aside....I have to say I enjoyed myself alot especially during the december holiday...the victory in NTU Invitational 2006, my results, bowling outings, followed my neighbour's journey for PSS2 etc which marked the end of the year 2006. Well to me year 2006 wasn't a great year for me and maybe to alot of people who also born in the year of dog. haha. Since it's over, i shall reflect on those things fast and get over with them. Bye 2006!

Woohoo.. its 2007..final sem in NTU (hope so)...last sem staying in hall and going for bowling trainings.....I know i will miss all these but well i guess i just have to treasure and enjoy every moments from now.

Just now managed to see myself on tv. Although its just a few seconds on screen, im really contented with the great experiences I have gained from the 5 drama serials that I have acted in. It wasn't an easy task to film a show. Teamwork is extremely important among the producer, AP, cameraman, actors and actressess. These people make sure that every scene is almost perfect. Even my infamous one-liner:警察! 临检! 快把身份证拿出来! in the 7pm show 荧火虫的梦 have to be repeated at least 10 times to get the best effect. Really respect these people manz!

well shall end this post and continue with my FYP. sianz 1/2.....jia you to myself!!!
